Anthony Blakley, Founder
Anthony Blakley is the founder of We Are One Solutions LLC (WAO). On December 18, 2018, WAO was created with the idea that African Americans already have the solutions to their problems; they just haven’t united to solve those problems. WAO is a community fundraising platform that supports spiritual, economic, financial, health and wellness initiatives in native black and African American communities. Mr. Blakley is a nationally recognized life coach and motivational speaker, personal fitness trainer, minister, entrepreneur, organizer, and a former professional basketball player. His philosophy is, “Be true to God and yourself and reach into the furthermost recesses of your mind, for the answer is there and only there and never in the physical world around you.”
Before devoting his fulltime efforts to WAO, Mr. Blakley served as Founder and CEO of BOUNCE Jump to The Highest Dimension LLC, a program that helps young, aspiring athletes prepare for success. The program provides guidance for achieving a solid foundation and a positive self-image, with key focus areas including character and leadership, health and wellness, finance and stewardship, healthy relationships, and spiritual enrichment. Physical skills and moral concepts are developed both on and off the court.
As a personal fitness trainer, Mr. Blakley has trained Hundreds of clients for nearly two decades. Through his training, Mr. Blakley conditions his clients to be courageous and confident in life choices, knowing in body, mind and soul that their body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and to be conscious and recognize what foods are healthy for the body’s immune system, which determines the desired outcome.
As a former professional basketball player, Mr. Blakley played throughout the United States and Europe for twelve years. His career has spanned over four decades, and he has coached at the middle school, high school, and professional levels. His high school and college honors and accolades include: Top Player in the Nation, Converse All-American, McDonald All-American, Mississippi High School State Title Champion, Two-Year Starter at Mississippi State University, and Southeastern Conference Newcomer of the Year. After transferring to Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Mr. Blakley was named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-American and NAIA District 9 Player of The Year. In 2011, Mr. Blakley was inducted into the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Basketball Hall of Fame.
Sammy Hale, Chief Operating Officer
Sammy Hale has over 24 years’ experience in Operations Management, housing and economic development related activities. Mr. Hale is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Winder-Barrow Community Development Corporation in Winder, Georgia. Under Mr. Hale’s direction, the WBCDC has become a HUD certified Community Based Development Organization and a Community Housing Development Organization with programs that include: micro business development training and technical assistance, revolving loan fund, housing construction, housing counseling, neighborhood revitalization, computer literacy training, financial fitness training, and youth entrepreneurship and leadership development. Mr. Hale partnered with EADC hosted and presented “best practices” forums for representatives and NGO’s from Norway, China, and Yugoslavia. Mr. Hale played 4 years of college basketball and then a Professional Basketball stent overseas, Continental Basketball Association here in the U.S.
Mr. Hale is a graduate from Limestone College where he holds a BS degree in Business Administration and a concentration in management.
